What is "Water Watch" System ?

Cooma Diesel Service specialises in "Water Watch" and innovative filtration products.

Modern diesel fuel systems have become more precise, they operate with  higher pressures and supply a very accurate delivery of fuel, this enables better performance, improved fuel economy and reduced emissions. 

Water is one of the main causes of damage to fuel system components. It can cause parts to seize due to poor lubrication, it will also produce rust and errosion on internal metal areas which inturn causes pump and injector damage. This problem can be even more relevent on late model electronic and common rail vehicles. 

The Water Watch trap assembly will assist in detecting water that has made its way into the vehicles fuel supply. It will also detect very small amounts off free water, bringing on a LED warning light and audible warning.

"Water Watch detects water prior to it entering the fuel system and can also be optioned with the added protection of shut down or back to base warning capability." 

"Water Watch" does not replace your vehicles genuine filter assembly, and is fitted prior to the original unit to assist in warning of water entering the vehicle fuel system. "Water Watch" models can be fitted to marine, industrial and automotive applications, up to approximately 18 Litre capacity.

Fuel Manager fine particle filters

Cooma Diesel Service now have an extensive range of aftermarket filter assemblies available for small to medium size engines.

Cooma Diesel Service are able to supply 2 to 5 micron cartridges with different length options.

These filters also have options for hand primers, see through water traps and restriction gauges.

79 Series intercooler kit

The 78/79 series intercooler kit is designed to fit the factory turbocharged Toyota Landcruiser fitted with a 1HDFTE engine, but will fit aftermarket turbocharged 75,78 and 79 series Toyota Landcruiser fitted with a 1HZ engine with only slight piping modifications.

Owners of the 78 & 79 Series Toyota Landcruiser Turbo Diesel 4WDs can fit the quality front mount  intercooler kit to gain extra torque and horsepower.

The 79 series intercooler kit gives performance gains of around 20% to the factory turbo Landcruiser.

The intercooler kit lowers the air intake temperature significantly and does not impair longevity or reliability of the vehicle.

Included in the intercooler kit is a redesigned grill similar in style to the original Toyota unit, which gives the vehicle a tidy and professional finish keeping with the mechanical components in the kit
